Hanseatic Connect, a specialist in international recruitment and integration of skilled professionals, is expanding its footprint in Indonesia. In early October, the company, known for its expertise in recruitment, training, and integration, opened a new branch of the Hanseatic Connect Academy in Denpasar, the capital of Bali.

The inaugural classes include students who are being professionally and linguistically prepared for qualified employment and long-term integration in Germany.

The academy features modern classrooms for in-person and online learning, digital teaching tools, and integration modules tailored to the cultural and professional expectations of German-speaking countries.

“The Indonesian labor market offers enormous potential with its many young, well-educated professionals. Through language and vocational training that is fully recognized in Germany, Hanseatic Connect provides them with a long-term career perspective in industries facing acute workforce shortages,” explains Thomas Awiszus, Managing Director of Hanseatic Connect GmbH & Co. KG.

“Bali, with its long-standing reputation as an international tourism destination, offers ideal conditions for attracting and training talent in the service sector, especially hospitality and gastronomy. After completing their training, our graduates can work across a wide range of professional fields,” adds Ayub D. P. Junus, Country Head Indonesia at Hanseatic Connect.

As part of their program, participants acquire German language skills up to level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), a key requirement for professional recognition in Germany. This ensures that graduates are equipped to handle everyday and workplace situations confidently, providing a strong foundation for successful social and professional integration.

Depending on individual proficiency, training takes between 12 and 18 months. The Denpasar training center can prepare around 200 professionals per year for employment in German-speaking regions.

Hanseatic Connect has been active in Indonesia for more than a year and a half. From its offices in Jakarta and Denpasar, the company recruits qualified candidates through traditional and digital channels, conducts structured selection processes, and places them with partner organizations in Germany.

“With our official Indonesian recruitment license, our own academy, and authorization as a certified language testing center, we offer an end-to-end, quality-assured service and rank among the pioneers in the Indonesian market,” emphasizes Awiszus.

The company also works closely with local authorities, employers, and educational institutions to continuously update its training content in line with German labor market needs.

All processes at Hanseatic Connect’s Indonesian branches adhere to the highest ethical and technical standards and align with the requirements of Germany’s ‘Fair Recruitment Care Germany’ quality seal. Through this, Hanseatic Connect underscores its commitment to sustainable workforce recruitment, development, and retention, standing for fair, partnership-driven, and future-oriented international collaboration that benefits both in countries of origin and destination.
